A bit more about Dr. Hariton

Dr. Hariton was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela, and moved to Florida in his teenage years. He went to college in Florida, where I studied biology and nutrition. He then earned his medical degree from Harvard Medical School and MBA degree from Harvard Business School. He completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Brigham Women’s Hospital and the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. After this, he moved to the San Francisco Bay area where he completed a Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility fellowship at the University of California before transitioning to his current practice at the Reproductive Science Center of the SF Bay Area in Oakland.

His thesis work employed artificial intelligence in IVF to optimize the timing of the trigger injection and was recognized as a seminar contribution to Fertility and Sterility. Throughout his residency and fellowship, he has participated in clinical leadership committees with an emphasis on diversity, inclusion, and clinical quality improvement. Over 70 high-impact academic articles, abstracts, and presentations reflect his work.

As an active member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, the Pacific Coast Reproductive Society, and the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Eduardo Hariton is particularly interested in using cutting-edge technology, like artificial intelligence, to enhance IVF results, and is aware of the significance of providing the most cutting-edge, scientifically supported therapies.

“I like to know my patients as individuals, learning about their lives before they were patients. This helps me comprehend what they are going through so that I can help them along their fertility journey”.

Dr. Eduardo Hariton’s treatment strategy begins with educating patients about infertility, including the most recent scientific findings and technological advancements.

“I am aware that there isn’t a single, effective treatment plan for everyone, and I pay attention to my patients in order to give them individualized care”.

When he is not working as a physician Dr. Hariton enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife, two children, and dog. He is a passionate fútbol (soccer) fan and a lifetime Real Madrid supporter. He loves food and experiencing cultures through their different cuisines, and has a soft spot for dark chocolate.
